Hope can move us forward and provide solace in difficult times; yet embedded in hope is the fear that, really, we may not be able to manifest what we want. It is a wish for benevolence, not a trust that it exists. Trust comes from knowing the Universe is friendly and being receptive to it. We might hope for this or that, but hope does not supersede trust. We must trust Life even if some of our hopes don’t transpire. Trust is knowing the power of not-knowing, the certainty of uncertainty and the miracle of the present moment: Now. With trust we embrace a benevolent Universe. It is our only certainty.
